7 Signs To Avoid Dating Time Wasters Or Narcissists eGuide

I say that with so much love and understanding as to why you have been though, as I think we all do at some point.

I remember when I’ve fallen in love with someone’s promises of all they could be. All they will do for me and our relationship.

How our future was going to be beautiful and bright. How they had BIG goals and dreams that will result in our happily ever after.

I now recognise that this set me up for a fantasy without a happy ending.

Perhaps you can relate to this?

Falling in love with someone’s potential and not meeting them where they are NOW or even being in love with who they are NOW?

Being in love with who you think they could become?

You find a person with fabulous potential and then proceed with helping them to develop this potential, whether they ask you to or not!

WARNING! This is NOT a relationship. This is a project!

Which leads to you being frustrated, tired and ultimately feeling hurt and disappointed.

Now don’t get me wrong, we all have greatness and potential within us and it’s fantastic to take inspired action to achieve this and support our partners along this journey.

Teamwork makes the dream work!

We just have to be mindful that this isn’t a prime reason for us dating and being in a relationship with someone.

Just suppose they don’t live up to it?

When I coach the women I do and they discover why they do this, which is often unconscious, it’s such an “aha” moment for them.

They’re now empowered to break that pattern and instead invest their heart, time and energy into being with someone for who they are now, not in hope of who they will be tomorrow.

This too can be you!
